10k spikes are not legit, I was thinking more along the lines

of randomly getting 40 instead of just 10-20 packets in one
particular second. A spike of 40 could be allowed, a spike
 of 1 certainly not. ;)

Since the DROP stays at 0 for several minutes that looks fine.
If it increased like 1-5 packets every other second that would
point to a too low limit.

You had 3 unlucky queries between 23:00 and 23:01 (legit spike
that got dropped), then again nothing for minutes, and then
comes the DoS that gets dropped correctly.

yeah, I'm sorry for those 3... hope they got lucky retrying a second later

 I think that's okay.

 I hope that too...

Thanks for the fix. However, old bug resurfaced due to this and now it
plays forever. Demo record doesn't stop it. However, snd_restart will
but it also breaks all voice communication. You can't hear anyone

helps though.

This is very annoying sound so please fix it asap.

Re: [hlds_linux] Team Fortress 2 Update Released

2011-01-08 Thread ics
They send ticket to every message sent to this list which is why i
included the message so everyone knows who has been wondering wyhat is
going on. Return path for the mail is xfac...@panel.clusterspan.net
while the message seems to come from sa...@xfactorservers.com. So i
guess removing those mail address from the list would solve the issue
for the rest of us.

Really, putting up an e-mail for hlds_linux to read it, that sends
automatic ticket as reply to everyone on this list is a BAD IDEA.

I hope Valve will eventually use the TF2 Beta to test their patches

could have been avoided. The TF2 Beta shouldn't just be a public poll

Re: [hlds_linux] Server crash Centos 5.5
