Re: [hlds_linux] Strange Issue
Suggestions or hints: Don't wine a server, haha Simple as that. Sometimes the portability between distributions is caused by the compiler of C they use when compiling. I think it has something to do with that. So you would have to install certain C library that runs binaries compiled for that library. I know you need this for it to run on linux, though if you are using wine it is all up in the air. apt-get install lib32gcc1 ia32-libs (This is coming from tf2) On , Bruno Garcia wrote: Suggestions or hints: Don't wine a server, haha Simple as that. [hlds_linux] motd.txt URL not working for CS:S
Having a full site URL in my motdfile (or motd.txt) on CS:S does not work. When connecting, even if HTML motds are enabled, the motd window is just blank orange - as if the game tries to load nothing. It works fine in all other games other than CS:S. How do I fix this? Copying the site's HTML into my motd.txt is not an option. Thanks. ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux

Maybe this happens on your client only? Or is this for everyone who joins your server?
