I think it makes more sense with the syringes actually since it heals
allied on hit. Plus it helps to differentiate from the arrows shot from the
huntsman which is probably another reason they did that, makes it easier to
tell that it's a medic shooting and not a sniper.

Oh.
Yeah.

And what's the deal with double-jumps, I mean you can't physically jump
once you're in mid-air.

GET IT TOGETHER VALVE THIS ISN'T FUNNY.

Lots of things to be addressed for sure - but I'll tell you what. The change
to needles on the crossbow was just flat out stupid. It is called a
"CROSSBOW" for a reason which I've yet to fire a needle out of mine so why
Valve..what was the purpose on screwing with that besides the fact that it
broke when you play with it on MvM and looks like laser beams from rapid
fire.

2013-07-11 Thread Invalid Protocol
Two crashes so far, while playing cp_fastlane and cp_process_final. Both
happened inside CBaseAnimatic::SetModel probably during the setup of a
stalemate because both backtraces contain
CTFGameRules::SetupOnStalemateStart(),
CTeamplayRoundBasedRules::RespawnPlayers, CTFPlayer::GiveDefaultItems()
etc...

Also seeing crashes on normal servers and mvm servers. But could still be
sourcemod related on some plugin, time will tell. Some plugins are broken

I run a server with process only 24/7 for now and its crashed atleast once
today. I was at work and unable to monitor it but one of our admins said
it went down. Could be related to the map itself as no other of the
4 servers is crashing than the one running process continuously. Though i
re-change the map after 10 rounds.

MVM is also crashing for some reason.

This can be exploited easily on the winning team, since they can still
activate ubers before the end of the round.

http://www.twitch.tv/ggglygy/**b/428663081has
 an example at around 2:53:00.

Hi all,
Since the new update for DoDs, the game is only in english.
An update is planned?
Or, do I miss something ?
Thanks for reply

You're right, that's a bug. Maybe they'll add the language menu in
Steam, but the language works in HL2:DM even without that.

Re: [hlds_linux] [hlds] TF2: New exploit in today's update

2013-07-11 Thread Saint K .
The quick-fix thing was a coincidence.

Somehow our server keeps crashing near the end of the cp_process map. The other
new map it plays through nicely. The crash occurs each time near the end of
process but I can't figure out how to replicate it.

Has anyone notice the server crashing with the quick-fix bug?

One of our players said he just got the bug and seconds after the server went
down.

I can confirm the Quick-Fix bug. Was able to replicate it myself.
