 I can just run a 12player on a P2-450 , 128mb ram,slackware 8?
128mb ram isnt enough for 20 players or?.
And on my P4-1,8n i run slackware8.1 and its slower than hell :) (think its not using
the P4 advantages)

If your for real, then i really want your email :)*S*

FYI I run a CS server in a k6-2 350 Mhz 128 Ram with
slackware 8 and kernels from 2.4.5 to 2.4.19 with no load problems , and runs
ok with 20 players in cs_italy . I do have firewall also . It is
probably some configuration issue. Note however that stuff irrelevant with
cpu usage ( like processes stuck in uniterruptable sleep ) increases
the load .
If you still need advice you need to give more info , like
kernel config , exact hardware specs , ps -auwx output etc .
Kind regards ,

PS: You are not using X-windows in the box, are you?

[hlds_linux] (no subject)

2002-08-22 Thread Björn Wallin

Good work Catching OGC , also god idea with a globalban list! :)

Bad implementation!

1. It should be up to the local server admin if he wants to use the globallist(free
for download)
2. The local server admin MUST have a chance to have his own excludelist.
3. Would it be better that they fix all the ingame buggs sometime?? i mena before they
add's more troubble?

And? is there like a free number to call when the have made a false ban? are thay
going to employ 234827483 persons around the world to
help all the players that (hopefully not) get false bans?
