Ohh fine... I think there is a quite easy solution for that... The only thing Valve should do, that they make a static linked binary... I dont think it's so difficult, and could solve everyone's problem with debian stable. Yeah, the upgrade would help me, but if I had upgraded my system, I would have done it some time ago.. That's exactly the point. I do NOT want to replace my _stable_ system with an _unstable_ one, just because of cs:source. A static linked binary would solve every problem. That would be a rational solution. And It's easy to provide, isn't it, Valve?
