Re: [hlds_linux] sourcemod l4d2
Bullshit asshole, this list is for server admins. Metamod and sourcemod questions are fair game - who the fuck decided that you're in charge of the content that goes on this list? That said, I'm not running any l4d2 servers at the moment so I can't help you with that. You should still try the sourcemod forums as well as #sourcemod on IRC but there's no reason why you wouldn't share this with people on this list. I didn't mean to be rude but I'm tired of people policing the questions that are asked. If you have no help to give then don't tell someone to not bring it up. Sourcemod and metamod are pretty integral parts of server administration now and it's important that as server operators we help each other with these issues. To get back on topic, Piotr, I suggest that you download the latest snapshots of sourcemod and metamod respectively. Re: [hlds_linux] sourcemod l4d2
Claudio, suggesting that he goes on sourcemod.net is fine, but telling him that this is not the place to ask these sorts of questions is not fine - you don't get to decide that. If you have a problem with it then don't reply or just don't subscribe. Re: [hlds_linux] sourcemod l4d2
Guy, I'm just saying that this list is used by server administrators for any issues that they encounter with their servers. It just so happens that sourcemod has a lot to do with running a server these days and shooting people down for asking questions about sourcemod is unfair. I can help you out, I run a small hosting company: www.fragfestservers.com, and we do hosting for game servers as well as fast dl. This is what I am looking for: 4 GB storage space 1 GB bandwidth per month some way to upload and download files basic web hosting (can just be an ip, no domain necessary, but I don't want to have to pay for another domain, so it needs some kind of ip or url access) If anyone knows where I could find something like this, or close to this, reasonably priced (under $10/month) I'd be grateful. Thanks, I will try that - the issue seems to have resolved itself after about a dozen launches though.
