It's not me being list police, it's how email works. It is common for a thread to change subject, so people will alter the subject to show this, and mail clients will then continue following the thread, which is what you would expect. So please, do not hit reply to get the list address when posting a new topic. thanks, -- Richard ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux

The first post with this subject has References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and that second message-id has the subject "Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] Confused Steam-IDs", which has nothing to do with this. _Please_ stop going to an existing message, hitting reply and altering the subject line when you actually want to start a new topic. Here's a perl module which does something similar; http://www.whatsbeef.net/wabz/wabzcon/ This is fairly minimal, and I'm sure someone will come up with something better before I have time to do so, but check it out and you might want to use it. Note that source rcon seems a bit odd at the moment. For example, doing mp_timelimit returns (actual data starting at 0042): 0040 5c 4a 50 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 28 \JP. .. Which is correctly formatted, but string 1 does not contain what mp_timelimit returns when you do it directly from console. Also, there is a junk packet after authenticating (documented at http://wikki.kquery.net/index.php/Other:SourceRcon). If there's enough demand, I might even keep this module updated and improve it; comments/criticism welcome!
