Re: [hlds_linux] WON being stupid again?
Can someone direct me to reliable news source on the net that reports 'something' relating to this Microsoft purchase of Valve. I would like to learn more as to why this came about before I pass this along. ~vap - Original Message - From: DaiTengu [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, September 21, 2002 3:11 PM Subject: RE: [hlds_linux] WON being stupid again? Re: [hlds_linux] server lagging
Weirder still I have a Cyrix 233 with 96 mb EDO 14 player server and no lag (unless someone from Germany connects on dial-up with enuf packet loss to work the cyrix - but then halfd gives'em the boot). Top shows cpu usage when full hovering around 45-55%. ~vap - Original Message - From: Jeremy Brooking [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, July 10, 2002 3:00 PM Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] server lagging Weird, 1 have 1 PIII 550 with 128meg of ram and it runs a 16 player server with no lag. I have an old PIII 600EB server here with 256MB RAM which can't run one 16 player CS server without lagging to heck, and that's without pingboost. Same machine quite happily runs one 20 player RTCW server though. Re: [hlds_linux] [OT] psychostats query
That warning indicates a line that PsychoStats cannot recognize. This started up for me right after the new version of CS came out. You can correct the problem with the ignorelines.cfg file. The ignorelines.cfg file allows you to instruct PsychoStats to ignore 'unknown' lines. By default PsychoStats assumes it knows everything about your log files. However, due to 3rd party plugins, etc. There are often times a lot of lines PsychoStats does not know how to handle. And when PsychoStats see's a line that it doesn't understand it generates a warning to let you know about the error. http://www.psychostats.com/psdocs/chapter.php?sec=37 ~vap - Original Message - From: Gustaf Carleson [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, July 09, 2002 2:59 AM Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] [OT] psychostats query Yes I get the same thing but I don't think it has any effect on the stats you get it's a non-fatal error and I think you can turn the output of those off in stats.cfg and it looks like this Change to zero.. But when I manually run the stats.pl command I get the following line being repeated for a number of logs: WARNING 07-07-2002 : 13:25:08 - UNKNOWN LINE in L0630026.log (line 262): Kick: player name498wonid was kicked by Console The reason why i'm curious about it is that I have a feeling it might be causing a few conflicts with the overall stats.
