Because you can't host a crappy 12 slot server on stone age CPU - you will not play the game? Thats a f***ing insane. You need to see a doctor. You can always host it on better server (I mean server, not a desktop somewhere under the table on some dial-up line). Or you can rent a 12 slot server (in my country you can do it for ~10-11 Euros/month and that's not A LOT) Even a Q6600 is a old school CPU and you blame Valve because you can't HOST or play on some 9-year old computer. That's strange. In my copy of srcds_run under the orangebox directory, line 341 is the declaration of the run() function. What does a backtrace on the core file look like? To get a backtrace, just open the file in gdb like this: gdb -c Where is the name of the core file.
