hmmmmmm, as much as I am interested in trying the new release, all of your experiences have convinced me to maintain my 3.111 to the bitter end.
Screw it, the 3111 server is full all the time - so obviously there are clients who are just as fed up with the current release of Steam as well. Our other server (rental - GamingMoose in Toronto) is being rolled back to 3111 at our behest and they agree b/c it must be a pain for them too. My advice to Valve (for what its worth ;) is to keep WON up for the forseeable future to avoid further PR debacles, for how long?
