Happens when the master server disappears. gcf files are still there...I just had the problem on another comp. [hlds_linux] Steam: CS just disappeared ?
Once again a client thing. I installed steam, told me game was unavailable (Pardon, this game I have paid for and downloaded 350mb for isnt available ?) then it tells me I need to clear the cache before I can play this game. I delete the cache, I restart steam because it couldnt properly delete the cache. I restart steam, Counter-strike is blanked out I now need to redownload Counterstrike (350mb download) to play it. I MEAN HONESTLY VALVE WHAT F*CKING GAME ARE YOU PLAYING HERE ? I am running an internet café, and this is the shyte I have to put up with.
