Re: [hlds_linux] "Timed out" problem with cs 1.6 linux hlds server
Type "netstat -nlutp" on the console of your server to list all ports in use, with a description of the processes using them. Find the ports used by the cs process(es) and open/forward those. Do add this in autoexec.cfg - change the tv port to what you want, and open both tcp/udp ports to the game server. The tv-port + game-port is the only needed. tv_enable 1 tv_delay 20 tv_autorecord 0 tv_maxclients 2 tv_delaymapchange 1 tv_port 27024 Good Luck ! Re: [hlds_linux] "Timed out" problem with cs 1.6 linux hlds server
If "Timed out" is displayed then it can be because of many things .. - the server did crach, can be corrupted files, hardware failures. - autoupdating because of new verion realese. - loading the server to hard so it restart treads ( I have never experienced this ). run memtest and check voltage, if its craching then its switching to certain maps - remove thouse maps. Good Luck.
