Hello,

I have a problem with a server. It quits quite often the last days:

 egrep -i quit *.log

L1128007.log:L 11/28/2005 - 19:02:07: server_message: "quit"
L1128008.log:L 11/28/2005 - 19:04:18: server_message: "quit"
L1128014.log:L 11/28/2005 - 20:25:32: server_message: "quit"
L1129000.log:L 11/29/2005 - 18:14:14: server_message: "quit"
L1129002.log:L 11/29/2005 - 21:18:31: server_message: "quit"
L1202000.log:L 12/02/2005 - 12:55:10: server_message: "quit"
L1202002.log:L 12/02/2005 - 12:55:22: server_message: "quit"
L1202008.log:L 12/02/2005 - 16:37:22: server_message: "quit"
L1203000.log:L 12/03/2005 - 10:39:54: server_message: "quit"
L1203002.log:L 12/03/2005 - 10:57:08: server_message: "quit"
L1205002.log:L 12/05/2005 - 20:01:12: server_message: "quit"
L1205010.log:L 12/06/2005 - 00:31:49: server_message: "quit"
L1206002.log:L 12/06/2005 - 15:08:44: server_message: "quit"
L1206006.log:L 12/06/2005 - 17:52:44: server_message: "quit"

Well, I can find this message quite often searching all logs but it's
happening more often since Nov 28th (which you can see above).

All I know is that it seems somewhat related to mapchanges.

What could be the reason for it? I tried Google and did find some
information about an admin who had a line "map de_dust" in his
server.cfg but this is not the reason here. Other Google hits didn't
help as well.

This server doesn't have any mods installed. Another server with Mani
Mod quits even more often. I looked at some other servers, too, and
found some more "quit" in the logs so every server seems to do so from
time to time. Since Mani Mod still isn't stable after the update I
wouldn't mind servers with mani to quit but this is at non-Mani servers
as well.

Is there anything else I missed? Where can I go on finding the reason?

Using Debian sarge with kernel 2.6.12-1-686-smp on pentium 4 in this
case, other machines have Debian as well and similar hardware.

Thank in Advance
Jens Werner
