I know I'll need my asbestos undies for mentioning this on the Linux list,
but I use Mercur mailserver and love it. At least, when I got it the price
was pretty cheap (it's gone way up recently). Easy to configure (just have
to check the use dns box post install and you're up and running), you can
give admin rights per domain, etc. It's a windows based server, but it's
great and easy to use.

I run a Sendmail Server (yes, you may begin the hysterical Laughing) but
have used Postfix as well.
For Mailing List software, I use Mailman (which Ironcally, is the same
software run on lists.valvesoft.com)
Are they easy to set up?
No
Do the work well once they get set up?
Yes! :)

I have never run a mail server before, and I may never. But what is
required
to allow my team to have it own mail server?
I have the Domain name already.
Do I need to run sendmail and a pop server inorder for my cstrike
players to
have an email account?
