then the problem seems to splited into two.

1. custom.hpk related. delete the custom.hpk, its ok.
2. non custom.hpk related, need further investigation.

I have been investigating and it seems that the crash happens on Debian
stable machines but NOT Slackware 9.1 or SuSe 6.1 (these are the 3
distributions I have at hand to test with).
I am working on finding out the exact problem now.

This would also be what the problem is with Adminmod too then right?

The author needs to learn to use metamod properly?

Re: [hlds_linux] metamod 1.17 and plugins?

2003-11-27 Thread Terrance Thornsley
I actually ended up upgrading my RH 7.3 box to RH 9 (needed to be done
anyway. And this gave the the newer version of gliblc) Then did a fresh
install of hlds_l, installed adminmod, the new binary for metamod, and
statsme 2.7.1.

All is running correctly now. And, I have a quite a few plugins installed
through adminmod for map voting and rotations and have no problems with
them.

Re: [hlds_linux] metamod 1.17 and plugins?

2003-11-27 Thread Marcos Dias
I believe that the problem isn't with CS,

The problem is with adminmod.

When you upgrade Adminmod 2.50.58 and metamod 1.17

metamod give an error like that it expect 5:9 and the adminmod is 5:7.

Now we need to wait adminmod make some alterations on it.
