It's nearly all de_ maps! What're you complaining about, that's all the "competitors" play. RE: [hlds_linux] new source server when?
Train sucks, to be honest, though I always enjoy Inferno. Nuke is so so. I suspect they'll release more maps once HL2 is finally out of the shop and in the world. More resources have probably been devoted to finishing the main game than CSS. CZ had more maps released to it (New maps, not more converted maps), though to my knowledge it was never actually announced. Besides, I don't see how you can call those "poor maps" .. You can claim its not enough, but except for havana, piransi and chateau, those are all your run of the mill "can't avoid playing because they're so popular" maps. > It doesnt look as if they want this to be a game used in major > competitions like CPL, that map list is pathetic, no train, no nuke and > no inferno. > > They have actually gone mad if they think they can keep their loyal > customers with such poor maps. > > -Original Message- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of hondaman > Sent: 07 October 2004 11:16 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] new source server when? > > That map list is pathetic. > > John Beranek wrote: > >> Simon Garner wrote: >> >>> On Thursday, October 07, 2004 2:18 PM NZT, >>> List Keeper <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >>> >>>> Why would they put new maps in it now, it's not CS2 or something >>>> different like CZ was. It doesnt look as if they want this to be a game used in major competitions like CPL, that map list is pathetic, no train, no nuke and no inferno. Re: [hlds_linux] new source server when?
Not sure about an SDK. But I know there is a new mapping tool called Hammer that was leaked a while ago which is why people were able to make new maps for the beta. I'm guessing that may soon follow the HL2/cSS release. Well in the review of HL2/CSS the reviewers hinted to something cool in CSS but didn’t tell what it was so maybe a map or two... you never know. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Daniel Sent: Wednesday, October 06, 2004 7:56 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [hlds_linux] new source server when?
