i hate to say it, but this has never been an issue for me. Have had windows
and linux servers running sourcemod.

Sounds wrong but it seems like a US issue to me since ive heard nothing of
the issue from any fellow Australian server ops.

Timeout still happens at map change, but not all the time (I think it didn't
happen all the time before the update either), and I'm in France. I know
other people here who got the same problem.

It's very rare, but still happens. Has happened maybe 5 times in the last 7
days for me, of 3 full 32x servers.

It happens, problems like these dont go away themselves. Server doesnt 
respond for a while but it doesnt crash either. It will appear to be 
normal again in 5 mins or so.

Yeah, I watched 8 servers tonight from other clans five died in 2 hours of 
watching them. 
Only two came back up and people rejoined.
Sounds bad, but I'm glad it's not only me.. :)

After map change in HLSW i saw big red hole :D and server from 16 players

Valve, do something about this, i cant take it anymore- i took out map
pl_badwater because of this. I dont know what you did but now my
server is timeouting everyone almost every time (in 9 cases of
10)#160; when changing level to pl_badwater or changing to some other
map (from pl_badwater). Without pl_badwater my server timeouts only
some few times per day..
