Re: [hlds_linux] TF2 Matchmaking - eligible maps?
On a related note, I sort of wish Valve would remove the nodmgspread off requirement from the exclusion list, we have it turned off on our servers so that play experiences are universal and uniform, no silly 80 dmg shots where 1 shotgun pellet hits from half the map away. Having a uniform play experience (At least in my opinion) will frustrate far fewer people, and leave less newbies wondering what just happened. Looks like they read what you said, check the bottom of the FAQ again. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2825-AFGJ-3513 On Tue, Jun 28, 2011 at 2:32 AM, J M wrote: > Every stock map besides Hydro is eligible for the quickplay feature. > Payload > and attack defend maps get the most players because they are listed first > in > the quickplay choices. Re: [hlds_linux] TF2 Matchmaking - eligible maps?
Every stock map besides Hydro is eligible for the quickplay feature. Payload and attack defend maps get the most players because they are listed first in the quickplay choices. At least that is how it seems on my server. Nope, I went through every map on the rotation. None of them changed any settings as far as I can tell, and only changed the sv_tags to ("_registered,ctf" and "_registered,payload" respectively). Of course, some of these are "community maps", but they are in the default TF2 install. ctf_2fort ctf_doublecross ctf_sawmill ctf_turbine ctf_well pl_goldrush pl_badwater pl_hoodoo_final pl_upward pl_thundermountain pl_frontier_final pl_barnblitz Having a list of all the "good" maps would be the best! ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
Re: [hlds_linux] TF2 Matchmaking - eligible maps?
Maybe that map has a setting or something special. Check your sv tags value on that map to check. It means any map included in the server install. At least that's what it has always meant to me.
