1st you have to register a domain name. (www.netsol.com)
Then you have to have nameserver for that server (www.mydomain.com)
When you have the nameservers you have to add a A-record to your ip.
So that if you do a nslookup
(http://dc.qut.edu.au/cgi-bin/man/man2html?nslookup)
You will get
testserver.myserver.com A 55.555.55.555
That way you forward a domain name to an ip address
If this is what you mean

Hello, can someone please tell me step by step on how to have a server IP as
a domain. Like 55.555.55.555 would go to testserver.myserver.com.
