Dear Mr. van Druten,

Another recording, given to me as a gift, that you might want to check out is 
available  on CD from the Chicago Symphony Store. It is Volume 14 of a series 
of archival recordings from concerts by the symphony. This particular CD set, 
entitled
"Chicago Symphony Orchestra: The Solti Years, Volume 14"  features a live 
performance of the Concertpiece, Opus 86 by Gail Williams, Richard Oldberg, 
Norman Schweikert, and Daniel Gingrich, recorded in May of 1989. I enjoy this 
performance more than the earlier recording.

[Hornlist] Re:different links for Mechanical linkage

Dear Members,

I have a student who recently purchased an Elkhart Conn 8-D with a mechanical 
linkage thumb valve. In order to properly adjust the horn to fit her hand 
size, we need to find a way to bring the thumb lever in more. Does anyone know if 
there are longer links available to make such an adjustment possible?
