You should play Aida (third or fourth part) with no F and all other possible transpositions. I saw him play the Hindemith Sonate on a Holton at the first horn symposium in 1969 in Florida. He also played horn quartets with Farkas, Tuckwell, and Lansy-Otto which was fascinating because they all played differently but blended perfectly. -- Original message from John Dutton [EMAIL PROTECTED]: -- At the end of his career, John Barrows played a Holton Farkas model-I think it was the 77 or the 177. A few years ago I offered to send listers copies of the Georges Fuchs
op.56 duets for horn and clarinet. This is a group of 24 pieces forming 6
duets. They are very 18th century - lots of noodles for both players.
The copies come from the Bibliotheque National de France.
In this electronic age, the paper is now scanned and I am happy to email
to anyone here who wants it. The package consists of an attachment of 17
jpgs totalling about 900K.

They are usually soldered in place. You must remove the rotor. I have a quick question. I was wanting to clean out the bottom bearing plates on my Schmid, but the bottom screw rings on the valves appear to be stuck.
