I tried to search the archives and could not find an answer for this question. I purchased a used Yamaha Single French horn for my son (fifth grade) and have been working with him on it. I would like to get him a new mouthpiece (the Yamaha 30C4) has a few nicks and the shank is dented but I am not sure what is a good one for a 10 year beginning French horn player. I have also wrote a note for him to give to his band director on his first day of lessons next week, but thought I would also get opinions from this group. If he played Tuba I would know where to start. Thanks David C.
