Did anyone here attend the Baltimore Symphony's performance of Bruckner 4? It was by far one of the best I have ever heard, and the Beethoven piano concerto was very well played as well.
Phil Munds played beautifully - as does the rest of the brass section, it is basically a huge torrent of sound. I think the Baltimore Symphony is a relatively underrated orchestra (as compared to Cincinnatti, cleveland, boston, etc) and I just want to congratulate those who might be involved in the BSO - bravo to you all!
