If you're in North Jersey, Randy Ulmer is the man to go to. A relative
of mine once dropped my Elkhart 8D on a marble floor and Randy made it
look better than it had before. Contact me off list for his number.

Hello, Hornlist subscribers!
Last year, I acquired a 1970 Conn 8D (Elkhart) in poor condition
from my local high school. It plays very nicely, but it needs
lacquer and dent removal. I live in northern New Jersey and am a
senior in high school. I was wondering if there was a local shop
that is affordable. I plan on continuing playing horn in college,
and am currently in one community band. If anyone has any advice,
please let me know. Thank you!
