[Hornlist] apologies to Thompson Edition

2008-11-21 Thread David A. Jewell
After I wrote that I couldn't find the Brahms on the Thompson website

I am sorry to hear that you did not locate that Brahms title on our site.
Actually, I would be curious to know what keywords you used unsuccessfully
in your search so that we can try to determine why the title did not show up
in the search listings, and make any necessary corrections to the item
listing in our database.
The cost on that publication is $7.95 and you may find it listed on the
following page:

Oh boy do I feel more than a little airheaded! There they are right
in the horn studies section of the website where I apparently went
right over them without seeing them. My apologies for giving anyone
the impression that Thompson edition didn't have them. I went there
first because they have nearly everything and what they don't have
they will get or try their best to. Okay end of apology and my
question is answered.

[Hornlist] apologies (was cantesanu horns)

2008-08-18 Thread Trey Johnson

Hi Folks,

It appears my message got kinda messed up. I'm no Einstein when it comes to
email. Here's my (hopefully) uncluttered message:

Felix recently fitted my Otto 166 with a leadpipe, and I couldn't be happier.
When I'm in the market for a new horn (perhaps sooner than later) he's first on
my list.

[Hornlist] apologies

2003-12-02 Thread Bryan Kennedy
I would like to apologize to the list for my postings yesterday criticizing
Mr. Cole and his comments made in jest about the bombings of 1944. I should
have held back, waited a while, then most likely I would not have made the
decision to fire off such a heavy handed and judgemental letter.Everybody
has a different sense of humor. I made a mistake by subjecting every one on
this list to my diatribe and moral judgement.I certainly would want some
slack cut me for some of the things I have said in the past. I respect the e
mails I received from Mr. Cole's friends defending his integrity and
personal qualities. That's good enough for me.I'll try to be a better horn
brother in the future.

Sincerely,

Bryan Kennedy

[Hornlist] Apologies...

2003-12-02 Thread giovanniarcangeli
It is a wonderful thing when a strayed hornlister comes back to the fold. Together
we are strong, divided we fall. We musicians must band together and share the gift of
music that calms the savage beast and gives us peace in our hearts.

Pax vobiscum,
