But you knew that by yourself, I am sure. If we get older, we oversee the most simple things more often than we did when younger, right ! Hi Hans, Thanks for your reply. It isn't a period orchestra, but a small chamber orchestra. When we play works from the classical period we always use natural horns. The next concert is Beethoven, Mendelssohn and the Brahms. We've eventually settled on natural horns for the Beethoven and Mendelssohn and valves for the Brahms. Why not taking two horns for a special program ? We had to take double, descant tuba to the studio often.
