Just a comment, clicking on something multiple times probably makes things
worse.  The first click is in a buffer and gradually gets passed through.
By clicking a second or third time you're putting a bigger load on the
server.

Click once and wait is the way to the lightest load on the overloaded
server.  I confess I bring up spider whilst waiting.
