Those are really details, not very important for the considered zone, but
 they still bug me.

A. Perhaps bee colonies, á la http://www.newmediaexplorer.org/sepp/beehive.jpg ?

B. What’s the unknown feature here? The concrete embankments to the right of
the bridge? They could be the foundation for an earlier (and washed away) or
yet-to-be constructed bridge, the road seems fairly wide there.

The 'unknown feature' is the whole intersection between highway and
waterway.
At first I could not imagine if it was a bridge, a ford, a dam or whatever.

Looking again with your indication I can certainly imagine :
* to the left a temporary/old narrow bridge
* to the right the foundation for a larger destroyed/future bridge.

For A) I am not sure what these are. The location near the airfield
makes me think they are related to that but I don't know what they
would be.

For B) Your interpretation on the bridge is correct. We are either
seeing a bridge under construction or one that has been destroyed with
a temporary bridge to the left.

For C) That looks like an amenity=marketplace. I would draw a
polygon around the whole block, including both the large building and
the smaller ones surrounding it. I think the large building is
something like a trading center, possibly for stores or an auction
house for livestock, etc. The smaller buildings all around are little
vendor stalls that I think people rent on a day by day basis to sell
their wares. It makes sense to map the large building as
building=yes, but I wouldn't bother mapping all the small ones unless
you really wanted to, they might even move around.

Thank you for the input Andy and Andrew, I am quite convinced by
B. bridge old and new
C. marketplace

A is still open.
It seems big for beehives?
If related to the airfield what could it be?
