*Main Function*
The mortgage analytics infrastructure team (MAPI) builds the distributed
analytics engine for securitized products business which is involved in
securitization and secondary trading of residential mortgage, commercial
loans and asset-backed securities. Our mortgage analytics platform has been
the market leader in the industry. To further our competitiveness, we are
integrating our platform with the quantitative analytics library and
on-boarding the strategic risk generation platform. We employ an array of
technologies in building our platform - C++, Coherence, TIB messaging, grid
computing and windows and linux systems programming.

We are looking for a talented and energetic C++ developer. Experience on
development on Windows (preferably Visual Studio) is a must. Prior
experience building new systems from scratch is a plus.

The MAPI team is on the front line, working very closely with the
Quantitative Analytics (QA), Research, Strategy and Trading desks. The
stakes of the projects being worked on are high and the technical problems
being tackled are very challenging. For the right candidate, this is a
great opportunity to get into the core of IT for residential and commercial
mortgage business, and to get involved with a complete rewrite of the
analytic and risk platform for an important asset class.


*Main Duties*The candidate will be responsible for on-boarding Securitized
Products analytics to a new QA interface, and integrating it to a strategic
risk generation platform. Most of the work will be in Windows. Securitized
Products is a very data-intensive environment, where large amounts of data
being handled puts strain on the systems memory, CPU, middleware and
network. Development and design work in this role has to be cognizant of
the systems performance, throughput and resource consumption.

*Person Requirements*
3 years of experience with C++ is a must. Experience with Visual Studio and
the Windows Development Environment is also a must. Knowledge / Prior
experience with TIB middleware messaging, Coherence, grid computing,
windows systems programming and building plugins and libraries are all
pluses. Prior experience with data-intensive, computationally heavy systems
is also a plus. Knowledge of Java can potentially be leveraged.
