[Hugin-devs] [Bug 887786] [NEW] Weird behavior autocrop in some projections

2011-11-08 Thread Henk Tijdink
Public bug reported:

As requested in bug report 806153 a new bug report of the weird behavior of the
autocrop function with some projections. Perhaps going to some extreme
situations this fault comes. With normal use you don't notice and get it.
Tested it under Windows XP 32 bits and now with Hugin 2011.4 beta1 too.

Created the panorama and in the preview straightened and centred it.
Following observed with the following projections

Stereographic projection.
Fit
Autocrop.
Right: 2616 Bottom: 2049
Left : 2014 Top : 896
This gives a rectangle of 602x1153=691416.

Doing a manual crop
Right: 2865 Bottom: 1616
Left : 81 Top : 1334
This gives a rectangle of 2784x282=785088.

Fit - FOV 304x102.
Autocrop.
Right: 2878 Bottom: 811

This gives a rectangle of 1110x811=900210.

Doing a manual crop
Right: 2882 Bottom: 692
Left : 70 Top : 122
This gives a rectangle of 2812x570=1532840.

When I change the vertical FOV to 101 it crops all right, like the
manual crop.

Equirectangular Panini

Autocrop works allright

But when changing the vertical FOV to 109 or larger it goes wrong
Autocrop.

[Hugin-devs] [Bug 817104] Re: Hugin 2011.2.0 RC2 WIN 32 crashes

2011-08-31 Thread Henk Tijdink
Tested the 2nd version you uploaded to sourceforge and this version works
allright.
Stitches without a problem.
I only wonder why in the about screen the number of 2011.2 RC4 is the same as
RC4-2. nl.: da2f450aef66
Depends that on the sourcecode version or is that number created by compiling.
So you can't see which version is installed RC4 or RC4-2. If RC4 or RC4-2 was
mentioned in the about screen should make that easier.
If more people have problems with RC4 and there are no problems with RC4-2
under windows 32 bit, shouldn't RC4 be removed from sourceforge and be replaced
by RC4-2?

[Hugin-devs] [Bug 817104] Re: Hugin 2011.2.0 RC2 WIN 32 crashes

2011-08-29 Thread Henk Tijdink
The issue is not resolved, unfortunately.
When I installed Hugin 2011.2.0-rc4 and start a stitch I get a windows error
message: vcomp100.dll is missing, so enblend and enfuse will not start.
Downloaded Vcomp100.dll and installed it in the binarie folder of Hugin.
Then during the stitch Windows gives an error message for enblend.exe.
When I replace enblend and enfuse by the versions from Hugin 2011.2.0-beta 1
then RC4 stitch without crashing.
When I see the file size for enblend.exe In beta 1: 1122 kB In RC4: 3578 kB
for enfuse.exe in beta 1: kB in RC4:
3596 kB
That is bytewise a 3 times larger versions for enbblend and enfuseProbably
enblend and enfuse aren't build right.
The error log is attached of the test when getting the message vcomp100.dll is
missing.

[Hugin-devs] [Bug 806153] Re: Autocrop doesn't always work

2011-08-11 Thread Henk Tijdink
A bit late, but I was busy outside home.
In 2010.2.0 final the autocrop in the fast preview works with all projections.

But I did some more investigation on the greyed out FOV and Optimum size
buttons in the stitcher tab.
In version 0.6.1 they never greyed out with the projections available in that
version.
From version 7.0 till 2011.2.0 beta1 the VOF and optimum size buttons are
greyed out with the projections mentioned in the first message. Downloaded and
installed all versions of Hugin and tested all versions on the greyed out
buttons under the stitcher tab. It is tested under Windows XP SP3 32 bit.
So that bug is already a long time in hugin without noticing it.

[Hugin-devs] [Bug 806153] Re: Autocrop doesn't always work

2011-07-29 Thread Henk Tijdink
Installed under Ubuntu(natty) hugin 2010.4 after testing the windows version
2010.4
With Windows and Linux under the stitcher tab the calculate FOV and calculate
optimal size are greyed out and can't be used with the projections mentioned in
the first message. It seems to be an issue of Hugin. Under version 2010.4 the
crop button works in the fast preview with all projections. In 2011.0(windows)
not in the projections mentioned earlier.

Have more users the same experience?

I'm running on windows XP sp3 32 bits. Unfortunately I can't build Hugin. After

When using generate controlpoints, optimising the FPW gives no crash and I can

2011-07-27 Thread Henk Tijdink
The problem still exists in RC2 from Matthew Petroff.
Found workaround for the optimal size under the stitcher tab.
Make an equirectangular preview go to the stitcher tab and calculate optimal
size.
Back to the preview and choose the projection which optimal size can't be
changed under the stitcher tab.
Now it takes over the value of the equirectangular projection.

Title:
  Autocrop doesn't always work

Status in Hugin - Panorama Tools GUI:
  New

Bug description:
In Hugin 2011.2.0 beta 1 for windows(2011.2.0.cf0eaefbe0dd built by Matthew
Petroff) I found after extensive testing the following probably related bugs.
My system windows XP incl. servicepack 3.

  1) In the fast preview window the autocrop function doesn't work with
  the following projections:

  Fisheye
  Stereo
  Transmercator
  Both Lambert projections
  Albers
  Orthographic
  Equisolid
  Thoby.

But under the Stitcher Tab the fit crop works for that projections.

  2) Under the Stitcher tab the function calculate optimal size doesn't
work for projections mentioned under 1).

[Hugin-devs] [Bug 790437] Re: Hugin crashes on equi to Architectural projection

2011-07-05 Thread Henk Tijdink
I am on Windows XP and tested it. I have something like that.
When setting the equirectangular projection to 360 degrees and change to
architectural the picture disappears. Not Hugin.
When press fit under the projection tab of the fast preview it comes back with
the real FOV

[Hugin-devs] [Bug 787075] [NEW] Smartblend wrapper doesn't work.

2011-05-23 Thread Henk Tijdink
Public bug reported:

In Hugin 2011.0 RC1(downloaded from sourceforge) Smartblend wrapper doesn't
work. System Windows XP 32 bit. During stitching smartblend gives an internal
error. DEVIL.dll can't read the file. Stitching goes on but there is no output
file created.
There is no error log created, which can be saved. fast reading gives that
message. In Hugin 2010.4 it still worked.

** Affects: hugin
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New
