[Hugin-devs] [Bug 1785553] Re: Wrong gamma of 32-bit float images in Control Points editor
For float/double images there is the setting in the preferences. So this is not a bug. ** Changed in: hugin Status: New => Won't Fix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Hugin Developers, which is subscribed to Hugin. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1785553 Title: Wrong gamma of 32-bit float images in Control Points editor Status in Hugin: Won't Fix Bug description: Hello 32-bit floating-point images (from RawTherapee) are overexposed in the Control Points editor. Maybe they have the wrong gamma applied, or the embedded ICC profile is not used? If you open the source images in GIMP-2.10.4 you will see them correctly with the correct gamma. They are of course very dark, so maybe the CP Editor is trying to make them easier to view for the user through dynamic range compression and increasing exposure. If that's the case, then nice, but the large CP editor magnification box, the one that magnifies the few pixels you are hovering over when placing new CPs, still shows a completely black preview, as you can see in screenshot screenshot_20180806_081643.png. [Hugin-devs] [Bug 1785553] Re: Wrong gamma of 32-bit float images in Control Points editor
The curve setting in "Preferences > Control Points Editor > HDR and 16 Bit display" does affect the preview in the CP editor, however the magnifier (which appears when placing a control point) is always black on these 32-bit images, regardless which "HDR and 16 Bit display" curve setting I use. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Hugin Developers, which is subscribed to Hugin. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1785553 Title: Wrong gamma of 32-bit float images in Control Points editor Status in Hugin: New Bug description: Hello 32-bit floating-point images (from RawTherapee) are overexposed in the Control Points editor.
