[hugin-ptx] strange mark on pano?
Hi,everyone The camera I'm using is CANON 550D ,and with 18-55kit lens .Only use 18mm end when shooting. I'm trying to stich it to a equirectangular with hugin 2011.0.0.0fd3e119979c built by Matthew Petroff (win 64-bit,pre built version) on WIN7 x64 I have no idea about how can I share my picture, so I've put it onto an HTTP space http://ewingkang.clanteam.com/pano.part01.rar (from 01 to 14) A:Some weird mark appeared on the result A-fused:There are some area lose its quality and become really strange A-fused-blended:Some edges become blurred(like different position?) The whole image is full of strange with differend brightness blocks. Thease pano was taken by fix aperture (Av) to f16,everying else in auto mode. I tried to take the photo with different way. I fix the exposure setting in each pitch, and shoot two or three times in different exposure setting. B:The same thing happened B-fused:This one looks terrible with defect almost everywhere B-fused-blended:This one looks much better, but still cas see those marks and some double image also occured. How should I do to solve this problem? Personally, I wish that I can take the photo only in Av mode (to control depth of field) and let the camera do the rest of things. Thus is only takes 40+ picture to create a pano. But any solution is great to me right now. BTW, hugin keep appear "enblend: error: LZW compression is not available to due to Unisys patent enforcement" when stiching. Is there any mistake? I would prefer an even other strategy. 1) Set the current artwork to "backup" 2) run the contest again but with the previous contributions still in, apart from the current artwork. If artists want to redract their previous contributions for this voting round, they can do that and that one won't compete in the voting. 4) Do the voting on the new and existing, not retracted, contributions, and leave an option for the current artwork. 5) if no clear winner, use the runner-up from previous contribution. If the community massively votes for the current artwork take that one for the next release. Otherwise as Oskar and Bart stated: b,c,a from your list. When an Application bundle has run, it registers itself in Mac OS X. Sometimes a new version registers itself again and sometimes it doesn't. Please don't ask me why as I don't know yet. This registering is done via the "BundleIdentifier" which can be found in the Info.plist inside the bundle (Show Package contents). PTBatcherGui has the BundleIdentifier "net.sourceforge.hugin.PTBatcherGUI". If you rename the bundle name of the currently registered PTBatcherGui, the bundleidentifier it still the same. The current call for PTBatcherGui is based on that. It is using "open -b net.sourceforge.hugin.PTBatcherGUI etc. etc." In that case you have never problems with the PATH or bundle name as a renamed application or even a moved application will remain registered. That's the perfect "easy for the user and hardly to screw up" Apple way of working. Now, in our case it's working counter productive as Apple is not taking into account that a user can have multiple versions (I guess). I'm testing to change the call to "open PTBatcherGui.app etc. etc.". This means that PTBatcherGui.app must be in the same folder as the program bundle (Hugin) that calls it (or you should provide a path name). Now with the new setup all bundles ARE in the same folder. This simplified and less reliable way for this "open" call is more suited for our new situation (and would have been from the start) considering the fact that users might have multiple versions on their system, each in their own folder. What I don't understand is why the installer is not registering the bundles, because that is what it should do. Now to end this explanation, I repeat: I think that one of the old renamed PTBatcherGui.apps is still called and that it doesn't know the new parameters. Now this is something I'm about 70% sure of, as it is new to me as well. I will analyze it further. That could take some time and that's why I give you feedback at this moment even though I'm not entirely convinced of my own answer. The PTBatcher will not automatically run for me under 10.5.4. I have selected it to "Start stitching jobs immediately" in Hugin preferences, but upon clicking "Stitch!" in the Stitcher window, nothing happens at all other than the saving of the .pto file. Hugin also asks me twice to save the .pto file for some reason. Upon launching PTBatcher manually, there is no project that has been added to the queue and I have to manually add the .pto file that was generated by Hugin. Am I missing something that is not obvious to me?
