And my translations of those strings have been used for years, too. Yet,
now I took the opportunity to let someone else proof-read the ~1500
strings, and another experienced translator of open source software grabbed
that opportunity, even though it is a huge job. Many translated strings in
the da.po file were improved because of this, and I find that very positive.

Ok, so it was like I suspected. Thank you.

Then my translation of this string is most likely from 2011 which seems to
be the year that I started to translate Hugin into Danish. I think it's
positive to know that it's been correct this whole time.

Please, don't take this as a complaint. I think the current string is
readily understandable and unambiguous. I am merely suggesting to add a tad
of consistency and use the same acronym that seems to be used elsewhere
throughout Hugin. If you choose to keep the strings as is, I think no harm
will be done.

Thank you.

I'll agree with Roger's overall sentiment and say that I like the use of
"CP" in place of "Ctl Pnts". At any rate, "pt" is the usual English
abbreviation for "point", not "pnt".

When managing volunteers for an open source project, it does not
help to give those volunteers a bad feeling.

Here, a useful suggestion is provided. Even after years of doing it
one way, it is useful if someone closely looks at the existing
code/texts and provides feedback.

IMHO, "nobody has complained" is not a valid argument.

"Hmm. I think the text is clear enough like this. Thanks for your
suggestion, but I think we'll keep the old text. Two arguments: First
if we change it all translations have to be updated too, secondly,
people using hugin have been used to this text for years. " sounds
better.

There are two projects where i occasionally find problems. Those
maintainers are not good at managing my contributions. I then provide
a patch like: "this fixes it for me but is not the proper fix. Let me
know if you're going to accept the 'proper fix' patch ". When I
hear nothing... nothing happens and bugs stay.

Roger.

Hi,

that comes early. A lot of the mentioned strings are used since years!

All images of each stacks are fused (default by enfuse)
Each stack is exposure fused and then these images and blended by enblend.

This string is used since 2010.

The translation parameters remap the image by using an intermediate plane.
The parameters describes the yaw of this plane. See also
