Re: [hugin-ptx] Copying control points? Can I?
Thanks from your response, But no, align_image_stack doesnt work the way I want it to work. We did use tripod, and actually we used PanoMAXX also. Align stack DOES create a sort of HDR but tonemapping and colors look horrible. We mostly shoot indoors. Also we do have HDR image program but it makes some of our pictures blurry or make them look foggy. LuminanceHDR is programs name, unless there is any tips to use that program :) I may have used align_image_stack wrongly, I have made a stack from 5 different exposure times (light to dark, plainly). I'm not sure is that the way to use it though, if it isn't I would be happy to get some advice to it. lauantai, 16. helmikuuta 2013 18.51.50 UTC+2 Cartola kirjoitti: I dont know if I understood exactly what you said, but it seams that hugin already does at once what you want. You have to work with stacks and put each exposition in a stack. If you didnt use a tripod and autobracketing ou have other reason for the pictures not being alinged already, hugin can align them. I usually prefer another approach. I do the HDR or the simple exposure fusion of each shot before going to hugin. Then on hugin I do only a conventional one stack panorama using HDR images. You can use align_image_stack, that comes with hugin, as a tool to align each shot out of hugin. [hugin-ptx] Re: Hugin stacks pictures to one stack, not 360 degrees as I want
Thanks JohnPW from you reply :) But I have already solved the issue (forgot to mention it in the groups, damn the memory of a man). Issue was in the control points, they somehow connected ALL the photos to one and result was one picture. Removing those extra control points and zeroing values from images gave me a good panorama :) Thanks for your help (yet late to notice it :)) -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Hugin and other free panoramic software group. [hugin-ptx] Copying control points? Can I?
So I'm trying to create HDR panorama with my friend as a school work. Unfortunately I am not able to produce 5 exactly same looking panoramas, due to light settings. Our panorama contains 8 images, six of them surroundings and ceiling and floor shots. Here comes the problem, our programs needs 5 exactly same kind of panoramas and we figured, if we can copy control points from our middle which is with normal light settings, to other panoramas that are lighter or darker to create exactly the same looking panoramas. I've been doing this by hand, but creating such amount of exact control points is plainly impossible by hand. So is there a way to use Hugin to copy control points to such matter? -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Hugin and other free panoramic software group. [hugin-ptx] Hugin stacks pictures to one stack, not 360 degrees as I want
So, my problem is kinda weird. It doesn't do it on all panoramas I try to make.. Only to those, that have large room or space to stitch up. Getting smaller (more detail-rich) panoramas is kinda child's play but I cannot stitch big rooms together at all. Here is one example: http://filesmelt.com/dl/panorama4.jpg This panorama is made out of 6 pictures. Four that circle the room, floor and ceiling pictures. Room itself is shaped as half-circle. Problems come with floor and ceiling pictures. Here is one that I made with 4 pictures, leaving ceiling and floor pictures away: http://filesmelt.com/dl/panorama12.jpg It looks nice, but there is huge blank spaces at ceiling and floor when we try to make it a ball for viewing. So the panorama is cylindrical. What to do to fix this problem? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Hugin and other free panoramic software group.
