Dale,

Can you confirm as well that if you upgrade to libpano SVN 1056, that your
problem is fixed?

2009-09-17 Thread Gerry Patterson
hmm...

I have the latest version of both hugin 4437 and libpano 1055 and I can't
reproduce the segfault. I am running GNU/Linux (k)ubuntu 9.04. i386.

Is there a walk through that one can give me?

   1. I create the jpgs with ptodummy and loaded the project.
   2. Next I selected "Positions (incremetal, starting from anchor) in the
   optimize tab.

It worked fine, with decent error values too.

Hello,
Before loading the images, open up the preferences and uncheck the "align
images after loading" option in the assistant tab.
Next load the images as normal. Then switch to the images tab and create the
control points. Once done, you should be able to now save the pto file and
post the result.
We should then be able to perform the next step (pairwise optimization) with
you, and attempt to reproduce the problem.
Are you familair with using gdb? That may be an option if we can't reproduce
it. It would allow you to provide a backtrace.
Best regards,
Gerry
