[hugin-ptx] Re: 64-bit Windows Installers
You're going to have to elaborate on a few things for me, especially as I've never built IS packages before. I suppose it would be a good learning experience. Also, what's the CP generator (control point generator executable?), and what's with the patent situation? In any case, I'd have to get this thing building first. -John Sheu --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups hugin and other free panoramic software group. Yup CP is for Control Point. The problem is that the default CP generator that comes with Hugin has a patent pending in the US meaning that if you're in the US, you can't use it. --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups hugin and other free panoramic software group. [hugin-ptx] Re: 64-bit Windows Installers
So does there actually exist an installer for 64-bit, or am I going to have to compile this myself? The former would be more convenient, but the latter I don't mind doing excessively. The latter. 64-bit compilation is available only through a set of patches. You'll find instructions for building an x64 SDK here: http://wiki.panotools.org/Hugin_SDK_(MSVC_2008) SDK patches are here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detailaid=2789320group_id=77506atid= 550443 Hugin patches are here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detailaid=2787607group_id=77506atid= 550443 Enblend/Enfuse patches are here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detailaid=2787615group_id=123407atid =696411 Once you have a 64-bit SDK, it's just a simple task of using CMake for Hugin as the same process as 32-bit. If you followed the wiki page, the 64-bit libs will have the same filenames as the 32-bit libs, so you won't just be able to switch configurations to compile 32-bit and 64-bit Hugin (instead, you'll need separate SDKs). --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups hugin and other free panoramic software group. [hugin-ptx] Re: 64-bit Windows Installers
Saw that wiki page. So I guess I have to compile for myself. So after I build my 64-bit binaries, is there any chance I could contribute them as an installer package? -John Sheu --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups hugin and other free panoramic software group.
