updatePreview(): error during stitching: Precondition violation!

Does this only happen in the 'old' Preview window, does it also
happen in the Fast preview window?

Can you send the .pto project that fails?

[snip]

I think I have seen a similar error (probably in an earlier version),
but am having some trouble finding details to be sure.
Does hugin actually crash or are you able to open tabs after the error
to examine details...e.g. control points?
My memory of when I saw something like this, is that the problem was
related to bad control points...but my memory of it is pretty vague.

It looks like you may be running Linux (which flavour?), and have
built from source.
If you built from source, are you sure that cpclean was properly
built? In all versions that I have built since cpclean was added, I
haven't had any problems with nasty control points.

I may be on the wrong track.

Cheers,
Terry
