[i3] How to move workspace by name to a given named output
i3-msg move workspace 6 to output DVI-I-3 I am trying to move a named workspace to a named output. The command above does not seem to work. Rather it moves the current window to a new workspace with the name 6 to output DVI-I-3 How can I achieve this? - This message is intended only for the addressee and may contain information that is company confidential or privileged. I've also tried this: i3-msg workspace 5 output DVI-I-3 The following section of the users guide says that should work. However this just creates a new workspace with the name 5 output DVI-I-3 4.13.
