Also related to the meeting: I got a note from James Cameron, that
some of you may find useful. Here it is, verbatim:

==

G'day,

Sorry, I can't make it. For me it would be 3am on Sunday morning, and
I have interesting tasks later in the day.

I work for OLPC.

Lately I've been working on a combined Android and Sugar build for the
XO-4 laptop, on request from a deployment.

More detail at http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Android

People with an XO-4 can get involved by installing it on an SD card or
on the laptop itself, and giving it a going over. We plan another
release in the next few days.

This week I've been working on a new camera driver for the XO laptop,
which was forced by end-of-life of a camera sensor we had been using
in production. This gives us a chance to include a few wireless and
firmware fixes.

More detail at http://wiki.laptop.org/go/13.2.1

People can get involved by testing the builds as they become
available. An XO-1 build for use on an SD card is available now.

In the background I look after the Wiki, the development
infrastructure, and respond to developer key requests for XO laptops.
To unlock your laptop, see http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Collection_stick

Have a great time at the event!

For those of you who plan on attending in person, could any of you bring a
USB 3 hub if you have one and/or a laptop with two USB 3 ports. This is to
make a copy of the Internet-in-a-Box image. 700GB over USB 2 takes 21 hours.
