Re: [iagi-net] Data-data Gunung Gamping
On Mon Jun 12 2017 08:11:46 GMT+0700 (SE Asia Standard Time), S. Miranda sedang mempersiapkan buku. Sekarang Miranda sedang mencoba Perpustakaan Peter Lunt. Lihat e-mail di bawah ini untuk detilnya. Salam, HermanDear Peter Lunt, How are you? I hope this email finds you well. I got your contact from Dr. J.T. (Han) van Gorsel. We've been corresponded since me and my team are now preparing a popular book about historical aspects of Gunung Gamping. It is a project of Balai Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam (the Natural Resources Conservation Office of Yogyakarta), and the book would be a non-profit publication to be given away to broader audience. I was asking for Pak Herman's help because it was quite hard to find specific geological references of Gunung Gamping in Yogya. Thank God Pak Herman introduce us to Han, which then giving a great help by sending us some significant papers we've been looking for. Among them is yours, The sedimentary geology of Java. Indon. Petroleum Assoc. (IPA), Jakarta, Spec. Publ., p. 1-340. Since we also found zero result of Gunung Gamping's fossil images or photos (samples in UGM and UPN palaeo-geology labs were unable to be clarified as Gunung Gamping's), through this e-mail, I'd like to ask whether you can, or cannot, grant us your permission to use photos from your paper, to be presented in the book. Or, if you have images of Nummulites gerthi, Discocyclina, Pellatispira, and Biplanispira of Gunung Gamping that we can use in the book, we'd be very grateful to access them upon your permission. We're now in the middle of first draft's revision process, thus a reply from you would be a good news for us. I'd be honored to send you the e-book after it's finished. Many thanks in advance for your kind help and appreciation. Am looking forward to hear from you. warm regards,Miranda.
