Mulyono Purbohadiwidjojo pada usian 94 tahun. Beliau adalah ahli geologi dan anggota IAGI yang paling tua dan termasuk perintis ilmu geologi Indonesia yang beliau tekuni sejak perang Kemerdekaan, khususnya dalam bidang geologi teknik/lingkungan. Beliau adalah pencipta istilah-istilah ilmu geologi dalam bahasa Indonesia.
