Menambahkan sedikit, saat ini sudah ada beberapa fresh grad's dari
beberapa negara selain Australia di BHP Billiton, diantaranya South
Africa, PNG, Fiji, dll namun memang belum ada yang dari Indonesia
(barangkali belum pernah ada yang mencoba). Program ini rentang
waktunya 2 tahun dan setelah lulus bisa langsung melamar/ditempatkan
di berbagai kegiatan eksplorasi/mining di Australia maupun belahan
dunia yang lain. Selama 2 thn ini peserta sudah resmi jadi karyawan
dan memiliki hak dan kewajiban yg sama (baca: gajinya nggak
dibedakan).
Secara umum program ini bagus dan saya sendiri saat ini tengah ikutan
membagi pengalaman dengan beberapa grad's geology BHP Billiton di
kegiatan eksplorasi metallurgy coal di Bowen Basin, Central Qld.
Silakan mencoba bagi para lulusan geologi Indonesia dan semoga berhasil.
