Re: [ibm-acpi-devel] adaptive keyboard off after suspend on linux kernel 4.4 and 4.5, (thinkpad x1 gen2)
Hi, I have not attempted to suspend to disk yet, but it always happens on suspend to RAM. I will update later with regards to suspend to disk, I am not in the same building as my laptop. [ibm-acpi-devel] screen brightness controls stopped working on ThinkPad W530
Recently, I noticed that the screen brightness controls don't work as usual. Not only that, most of the time it will completely lock up the system requiring a hard reset. If I don't touch the screen brightness controls, the system remains stable. I'm emailing this address because it states so in 'dmesg' : [9.137413] thinkpad_acpi: ThinkPad ACPI Extras v0.25 [9.137415] thinkpad_acpi: http://ibm-acpi.sf.net/ [9.137416] thinkpad_acpi: ThinkPad BIOS G5ET93WW (2.53 ), EC unknown [9.137418] thinkpad_acpi: Lenovo ThinkPad W530, model 2447DV2 [9.138744] thinkpad_acpi: Unsupported brightness interface, please contact ibm-acpi-devel@lists.sourceforge.net [9.138855] thinkpad_acpi: radio switch found; radios are enabled [9.138866] thinkpad_acpi: This ThinkPad has standard ACPI backlight brightness control, supported by the ACPI video driver [9.138867] thinkpad_acpi: Disabling thinkpad-acpi brightness events by default...
