It is interesting that mute/unmute does work, though. > brightness_increase (fn+home): does not work > brightness_decrease (fn+end): does not work It is not supposed to in your thinkpad, unless you override it. [ibm-acpi-devel] T61p woe
Greetings, I'm having loads of trouble getting my new T61p to work properly with thinkpad-acpi. The T61p is at bios level 7LET56WW (1.26 from 2007-12-18) and I am running vanilla-sources-2.6.24-rc5 with thinkpad-acpi-0.18-20071203 patched in from the SF release system. volume_mute: works volume_decrease: does not work (used to unmute, works) volume_increase: does not work (used to unmute, works) thinklight (fn+pgup): works brightness_increase (fn+home): does not work brightness_decrease (fn+end): does not work led_wifi: does not ever come on, even while using wifi led_bluetooth: works led_caps_lock: works led_num_lock: works led_hdd: works led_on: works led_battery: works led_ac: works led_sleep: unknown I've not yet tried to do any other advanced Fn+ combinations, but would be a happier person if volume and backlight controls would work. Suggestions please? Thank you in advance, -jesse -- There are 10 types of people in this world, those that can read binary and those that can not. - This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
