Re: RACF Training
I recently took training from the Henderson group. It is worth it. They also travel. We found them to have excellent training at a reasonable price. However, the are based in Bethesda, Maryland, and their classes are given mainly in east coast cities. So, if you are located somewhere else the travel might be a concern. Re: Do you protect your power switch with a lock?
If is a red button type switch, Its a good idea to place it little high up on the wall, say above the height of the average leaning shoulder. I checked and there is no such lock. I wonder how do you protect your mainframe power switches other then access control to the computer room. /snip We do not have a lock on our get fired button (aka emergency power off switch), but we do have a cover with a latch. You had to be very deliberate to press emergency power off switch.
