Hi Terry,

Here is a sample logstream define which has worked well here (z/OS 1.7, 
WebSphere 5.1, no CF):

DEFINE LOGSTREAM NAME(ATR.SYSA.MAIN.UR)  
   HLQ(IXGLOGR)  
   STG_SIZE(160) 
   LS_SIZE(160)  
   DASDONLY(YES)
