Re: TWS HOST not reflecting FTA down

2008-02-01 Thread Van Dalsen, Herbie
Susan,

Thanks for the interest.

No,

We are on z/OS 1.6 with TWS 8.2 so I don't see the point there, as they
are both out of support. I was honestly hoping that someone has
experienced this because we will be finished z/OS-ing by the end of this
year, so no point to upset any apple-carts in such a small time-space...

Regards

Herbie

Herbie,

Have you opened a problem record with support?

Susan

Hi all,

Tivoli is great, but then again, sometime...

I have searched the web, but came up with nothing for this one...

We have z/890 Host and several Sun Solaris 10 FTA's

Last night we had a problem where the jobs were failing with OSUF, which
is understandable because the symphony file is not available because the
link is down, however on the Host's TSO interface this was not reflected
until after I had the OPS run a job to re-send the symphony to the
FTA's.

Has anyone had this problem before? I have seen a lot of the abends that
we got on the web with related PQn's but not for the release we
have. We have an idea why the link broke, but not why the HOST was not
reflecting the change in status.

Any Ideas will help.

Regards
