Re: VTS Ejected volume
Since this is a VTS stacked volume it might not be/need not be defiend to your tape management system. If defined to RMM, RMM will have no information about the volume or its contents other than it is a stacked volume and the library it should be in. Re: VTS Ejected volume
If there's any data on the tape being ejected - the VTS copies it to another tape before ejecting. Fear not. VTS Ejected volume
Hi listers, Occassionaly, we get this message regarding some vts media.. CBR3750I Message from library XXVTS1: OP0100 A Read-Only status 214 stacked volume 000502 has been ejected. (VTS 1) (05-12-2006 07:43:20). *CBR3762E Library XXVTS1 intervention required. Under what circumstances, OAM eject a volume? We do not see this volume in RMM after this message. What are we suppose to do with this volume? Check the contents of this ejected volume? Add it back into RMM? Any help is appreciated.
