Yes, it should, but how much is workload dependent. There's a performance
guide involving some SAP-related workloads available here:

Ideally, you would test your proposed/desired configuration in a
well-crafted benchmark using a distance simulator, or using a "suitcase"
containing 60 Km of fiber cabling.
If you discover that your workloads are misbehaving at that distance then
you have a couple choices, broadly speaking: (a) reduce the distance, (b)
see if you can adjust the workloads and their behaviors, and/or (c) have a
look at IBM GDPS Active offerings to see if they address your business
resilience requirements at or beyond the distance you need. For item (a)
sometimes you can get some help if you position a CF halfway between sites.
