We upgraded Syncsort to 2.1 late last year and have applied TPF 2.1 (what Syncsort calls a bundle of PTFs at a maintenance level). That comes with zPSaver but not enabled. In December we enabled it with a license key. We started having problems so more PTF's had to be applied. We recently tried again, and again had problems and need more PTF's. When it was running well on a Development LPAR it was offloading well over half of CPU cycles to zIIP! Is any other shop out there having similar difficulties? They tell me the feature has been GA for over a year but I get conflicting answers when I try to find out how many shops have put it into production.
